There are many activities locally available including horse riding, fishing, golf and mountain biking. There are also plenty of interesting walks in the area, some of which can be taken directly from the accommodation, others just a short drive away.

Bird watching is another popular activity in the area with many species to be seen from seabirds, waders, buntings, finches and a selection of birds of prey including Red Kites, Osprey and Buzzards.
